If the cover plate is moved due to inspection needs, it is also necessary to quickly reposition the cover plate from the beginning after inspection to protect the PTFE flange surface.
When connecting fluorine lined valves to pipelines, gaskets are generally not used separately. However, when connecting to flange surfaces of different materials (metal surfaces, etc.), appropriate gaskets should be selected to protect the PTFE flange surface.
If leakage occurs during the operation of the 3 fluorine lined valve in the system at higher temperatures, the system temperature should be first lowered to room temperature, and then the cause should be identified and repaired.
When using the equipment, the flange nuts should be tightened evenly in a diagonal direction (symmetrical) and with appropriate torque: a. If there is leakage on the flange sealing surface and the nut in the leakage direction has been locked, the nut in the leakage direction should be loosened by half a turn, and then the opposite side should be tightened again with the same torque; If the above method still fails to stop leakage, the PTFE flange surface should be checked for any concave and convex indentations or scratches. At that time, fine gauze paper and cloth can be used to level and connect from the beginning.
The sealing pair of fluorine lined valves stored for a long time should be in a slightly detached state to avoid deformation of the sealing surface due to long-term pressure, which affects the sealing function and service life.
